Alcoholism goes through chronic progress and in many cases it causes harm to the people around the patient due to its characteristics therefore, makes the wife of the alcoholic faces especially enormous pain. If such a burden and negative experience is not resolved, it affects the entire family members and connects to dissolving of family. Like this, the quality of an alcoholic's wive's life gets affected in the process of fulfilling the responsibilities as the protection protector of an alcoholic. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to reveal the importance of alcoholic's wive's quality of life and find out the personal, family environmental and alcohol related factors thataffects quality of life to propose effective intervention that enhances the quality of alcoholic's wive's. The result of this study are as follows: 1) As a result of using multiple-regression analysis, personal factors affect significantly on the quality of life by 28.7% explanatory power. The most powerful personal factors on quality of life are care burden and health condition. 2) Family environment factors affect significantly on the quality of life by 13.9% explanatory power. The most powerful family environment factors that quality of life are monthly income and parent-children relationship. 3) Looking into the influence on life of quality following the alcohol related factors, time of prevalence and family discord did not show significant correlation to quality of life, but violence did show reverse correlation to quality of life. The alcohol related factors showed to be unable to explain quality of life appropriately. However, assumption 3-2 was sustained as violence, among related factors showed to have statistically significant influence. 4) Looking into personal, family environmental and alcoholic related factors relative influence on quality of life, care burden was the highest of relative influence, which was followed by parents-children relationship and health condition. The implication of result are as follows: It can be said that this study has the following theoretical implications. The significance lies in the fact that this study has attempted a new view and approach that utilizes alcoholic's wive's as a partner for treatment, not an object to change. It can be said that this study has the following clinical implications. First of all, in this study, the most important factors that influence the life of an alcoholic's wive's are care burden, parents-child relationship and health condition, and reducing the wives' and children's emotional pain and enhancing the understanding on alcohol through family program is required. Also, the social worker has to make them recognize the importance of health regarding the wives' health. It can be said that this study has the following policy implications. Alcoholism needs to be included as a disability so that the economic burden of alcoholic's wives, who are the primary protectors, is reduced by receiving realistic support. Also, expansion of middle facilities such as shelters related to violence and community alcohol counseling center is in grave necessity.
