    This study identified commercial girls high school students' perceptions of enjoyment and specific sources of stress in physical education. A total of 497 students responded to an Likert type question on general stress in physical education and an open-ended question regarding the factors underlying stress in physical education. Content analysis of the responses resulted in 10 general dimensions of enjoyment and 11 general dimensions of stress. 10 general dimensions of enjoyment were enjoyment of outdoor classes, social gathering, preference of specific activities, enjoyment of sports, getting rid of stress, improvement of physical health and fitness, preference of physical education teachers, characteristics of practical training, satisfaction and others. 11 general dimensions of stress were curriculum dissatisfaction, lack of confidence, warm-up and management complains, dissatisfaction with teacher, poor facility and environment, limits in physical condition, worry about skills test, conflicts with classmates, fear of punishment, uniform dissatisfaction, and others. The results were discussed in terms of designing and implementing student-oriented physical education classes.
