As the society makes rapid progress toward the era of information, the importance of statistics has grown more and more. It could never be much too say that we live in the matrix of statistics. By this token, the statistics education has brought to the fore as a critical issue. In reality, however, both the school education excessively inclined toward the entrance examination for university and the student's falsely fixed idea that statistics is a subject just filled with tedious, convoluted calculations and dealt with only by the experts have adverse effects on statistics education. As a result, students lose the opportunity to enhance their ability to grasp and solve a variety of statistical problem situations that they frequently face in their daily life. Students increasingly turn away their eyes from statistic. The purpose of this study is to investigate that how to stimulate the students' dynamic and spontaneous learning attitudes in the conceptual learning on statistics through students' actual experience and control, as in the intuitive, investigative activities through animation or simulation, by using the computers, into which the state-of-the-art technologies of 21st century are crystallized, and a statistical package program called "Fathom" when statistics education is performed in actual educational scenes. To this end, this study examines the students' mind-set and attitude toward the statistics education by developing and applying the instruction-learning materials for the statistics chapter of senior high school using "Fathom" as an educational instrument.
