This is a study on how a class using information communication technology (ICT) affects study accomplishment, students' attitude to science and research ability. It has come to the following three conclusions: 1. The classes using ICT brought a positive effect to study accomplishment. After teaching classes utilizing ICT for the first one month, an experimental group got an average of 3.55 points higher than a control group in a test and showed a significant difference of p=.040 of dispersion analysis. In a test taken after 2months, the degree of accomplishment of the experimental group was an average of 7.67 points higher, and showed a significant difference which was p=.002 of dispersion analysis. In a test taken after 3 month, the experimental group got an average 12.63 points higher than the control group, and showed the distinctive difference as p=.000. It is suggested that the classes using ICT with various mediums helped the students to understand many other scientific facts and theories as well as create interest in them. 2. The class with ICT brought a positive effect to students' attitude toward science. A pre-test of students' attitude to science showed a slight difference as p=.724 between the experimental group and the control group, but later a clear difference as p=.000 appeared. This is regarded as showing that the experimental students could recognize more about the importance of science as well as positive functions of science as they utilized various mediums and science activities. Also it seemed that the experimental group that had access to different scientific facts and methods approached scientific activities more actively than the control group. Therefore, It is suggested that the class with ICT created intellectual curiosity in the students and helped them to understand scientific knowledge more broadly and deeply. 3. It seems that the class with ICT also gave a positive effect to the research ability of students. A dispersion analysis showed p=0.01 of significant difference in research ability. It can be concluded that because the experimental group studying with ICT has many different resources, their research ability is improved. Therefore, ICT would be a necessary teaching tool in a class continuously as its range of practical use is expanding.
