Golf has been popularized with change of social recognition of golf and increase of golf population. Therefore this study compares and analyzes the state of mood before and after golf rounding, analyzes its affects on rounding and aims to provide the basic data for more comfortable and satisfactory rounding. The results of this study are as follows. 1. Rounding companions of subjects were mostly for 'meeting' (54.5%), followed by 'seniors or juniors' and 'friend'. The mean number of strokes was mostly '80∼89 strokes' (31.8%), followed by '100∼109 strokes' and '90∼99 strokes'. The purpose of rounding was mostly for 'friendly meeting' (53.4%), followed by for 'leisure', 'practice' and 'business'. The number of pars after rounding was mostly '90∼99 strokes' (36.4%), followed by '100∼109 strokes', '80∼89 strokes' and '70∼79 strokes' (12.5%). It means that 60% of subjects were satisfied with the number of pars after rounding. 2. It conducted S.D evaluation to examine the changes of feeling before and after rounding and there was no great changes of feeling before and after rounding. On the characteristics of feeling before rounding, all variables except for V16 (exciting-overflowing) (2.86) and V25 (excited-halfhearted) (2.98) showed affirmative state and of these variables, variable with great values includes V1 (sad-joyful) (3.98). Feeling after rounding showed affirmative values in all variables except for two variables such as V16 (calm-exciting) (2.98) and V19 (disappointing-expecting) (2.95) and there were affirmative values in order in V28 (comfortable-challenging) (3.58), V13 (non-confident-confident), V2 (uninteresting-interesting) (3.56), V14 (exciting-unexciting) and V15 (calm-exciting) (3.06). In addition, as a result of conducting factor analysis based on materials of S.D evaluation to examine characteristics and factors of feeling before and after rounding, four factors were drawn and these four factors such as 'comfort', 'interest', 'activity' and 'satisfaction' affected the state of mood of players by mechanism. 3. This study selected five factors such as weather, game assistant, rounding partner, former team and latter team which can have the bad influences on the state of mood in rounding, examined their influences on the state of mood and there were a lot of responses that it had affirmative influences. Game assistants had the most affirmative influences on game as +1.69, followed by weather (+0.14) and latter team (+0.07) and the most negative factor was former team (-0.11), followed by companion (-0.1) and game result (-0.05).
