    During the hardening of mortar on various addition rate of TiO_(2), the fluidity, the strength and photocatalytic activity of mortar were measured to find out the effect of TiO_(2). The flow value was decreased in proportion to increasing of TiO_(2) addition rate, because the lubricating effect had been hindered due to the reducing of the air volume in mortar on TiO_(2) additions. The compressive strength of mortar had shown a decreasing tendency according to increasing of TiO_(2) additions. Especially when TiO_(2) additions on mortar was increased up to 10%, the compressive strength was decreased as about 10%. In the meantime, it was showed that the tensile strength and the flexural strength were similar to the one of the compressive strength. Decomposition rate of methylene blue of mortar was increased with increasing of TiO_(2) addition rate.
