The aim of this study is to bring to light on how much teacher's questioning styles affects the expansion of children's creativity. Followings are hypothesis according to the purpose of study. First, there might be considerable difference in learner's creative expansion according to teacher's questioning styles. Second, in accordance with learning group's capability level teacher's question standard makes difference in creative expansion. 2-1 The high rank of child would more effective in disseminated question than convergent question, when it comes to creative expansion. 2-2 The middle rank of child would more effective in disseminated question than convergent question, when it comes to creativity. 2-3 the lower rank of child would more effective in convergent question than disseminated question, when it comes to creativity. We select four classes on fifth grades of S elementary school located in kwang-yang city to verify those hypothesis. We conducted experiment disseminated questioning styles to two classes and convergent questioning styles to the other classes. And the standard test of study in each, classes shows that over 80 of test scores are regarded as high rank, from 60 to 80 are middle rank and below 60 are treated as low rank. The test program is a teaching-Learning process in social studies and is composed of the form dissminated question and convergent question and this program is on the basis of the puest process of social studies in the elementary school attached to kwang-ju national university of Educational. The instrument of test is standard examining paper of 4 subjects such as korean. Mathematics, Society and Nature to measure level of capability of study. And this is a simple examining paper of creativity to measure creativeness which was issued by Chung won sik and Lee young duk at korean testing center in 1989. The test was performed 4 times a week and 40 minutes per all through the test of 6 weeks. An inspection was done before and behind the test. The result of test verified the difference of test score of creativeness. The SPSSWIN(version. 8.0) was applied for the major statistical analysis method. The outcome of this research can be summarized as followings; First, as to creativity, disseminated questioning styles shows considerable consequences than convergent questioning styles. Second, the high and middle rank of child shows more effectiveness in disseminated question than convergent question, when it comes to creativity. Third, the lower rank of child would be more effective in convergent question than disseminated question, but it was shown that there were no significant differences. So teachers should apply the diverse questioning styles which is suitable and based on the standard of leaner's capability and contents of study rather than using too much one questioning styles.
