    The study was intended to find the result analyzed in connection between visual projection and the place the materials and color in the child painting were expressed. Concrete questions about the study are as follows ; 1. Is it different the decision of the place of materials in a child painting according to the distinction of sex? 2. Is it different the decision of the place of materials in a child painting according to the distinction of age? 3. Is it different the decision of the color place in a child painting according to the distinction of sex? 4. Is it different the decision of the color place in a child painting according to the distinction of age? The study was conducted on 582 children living in seoul who are 5 to 12years old. The 582 width pictures of theirs were gathered and divided into 4 parts, the upper of the right, the upper of the left, the bottom of the left, the bottom of the right. And then the materials and color were analyzed from the 4 parts for finding difference about sex, age, and parts. The results from the study are as follows. 1. In the decision of the place of materials, all men and women tended to put natural materials to left side and artificial materials to right side. However, the tendency of putting natural materials to left side was showed in particular men. That is, all men and women express information of left side of occipital lobe into right side of their view, and information of right side of occipital lobe into left side of their view. Between them, right-brain of male's is more superior to female's, so that tendency is more obvious in male. 2. In the decision of the place of materials, according to increasing age, they tended to put natural materials instead of artificial materials and the change of tendency choosing materials was showed clearly at left side as they become older. In other words, because as they age, right-brain develops against left-brain, use of natural materials related to right-brain increases. 3. In arrangement of color, they showed an inclination placing red color on left side, and blue, yellow color and light luminosity on right side and all men and women showed diverse use of color. That is, red color, a primary color, responds on right-brain sensitively and the others, blue, yellow color and light luminosity, responds on left-brain sensitively. 4. Changes using color in the distinction of age were mostly found at left side and diverse use of color in the distinction of age were found from children aged about 7 to 8. That is, on left side related to right-brain the change of color shows very much due to the fact that their right-brain is more developed as they become older. Moreover, diverse use of color shows distinctly in the period of child aged 7 to 8 developing language ability abruptly because using color diversely is related to development of language.
