초등학교 집단따돌림 아동과 스포츠 활동의 연관성에 관한 연구

본 연구는 초등학교 집단따돌림 피해 실태를 조사분석하고 스포츠 활동과의 연관성을 조사함으로써 스포츠 활동과 따돌림과의 관련성을 구명함과 동시에 일선지도자로 하여금 스포츠 활동의 중요성과 필요성을 인식하게 하여 학교 내에서의 집단따돌림 피해를 극소화시키고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 대상으로는 부산광역시 소재 초등학교 8개교를 아파트 지역, 주택가, 농어촌 지역 등 3개 지역으로 국한하여 4∼6학년 학생 600명으로 하여 질문지를 배포하고 질문 내용에 대한 자기평가 기입법(self-admistration method)을 사용하였으며 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's a .72이다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS/PC 프로그램을 활용하여 통계 처리하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성 및 스포츠 활동 관련특성, 따돌림 피해자의 경험분포, 학교에서 집단 따돌림을 본 경험이나 이에 관한 생각에 대한 분포는 빈도와 백분율로 나타내었으며, 집단따돌림의 피해 경험의 차이, 학교에서 집단따돌림을 본 경험이나 생각의 차이검정은 교차분석(x^(2)-test)를 실시하였다. 통계적 유의수준은 p
The present study was to examine/analyze the actual condition about elementary students' grouping alienation and to verify correlation with sports activities. Moreover, we attempted to announce the importance of it and minimize the victims of the grouping alienation. The subjects of the study were six hundreds students of fourth to sixth grades selected from eight elementary school of Busan Metropolitan City and were asked to make out the questionnaire(self administration method). Reliability of the questionnaire was Cronbach's a .72. Data were analyzed by SPSS/PC program Characteristics of the subjects, sports activities, and distribution of victims's experiences were expressed frequencies and a centesimal scale. Difference of experiences and thought about the grouping alienation were described chi-square test(x^(2)-test). Statistical significance was five percent. The results were as follows: Firstly, according to the research of sports activities of the elementary school students, the number of students who like and enjoy sports activities is 422(73.1%), the number of who doesn't like sports activities is 146(25.7%). By regional groups, the proportion of preference tendency were showed to be mostly same among the common residential area, apartment area, farming and fishing villages. In the research of the frequency of sports activities, the number of students who attend the activities for one to two days of a week is 198(35.3%), the number of who attend over five days is 156(27.8%) and that of who attend for three days is 149(26.6%). In research of the duration of participating in sports activities that of one to two years in 190(33.6%), that of less than six months is 178(31.4%) that of three to four years is 122(21.6%). By regional division, the length order of duration of participation showed as apartment area, common residential area, farming and fishing village. Secondly, for the last one year the number of victims of grouping alienation was 159(27.6%) among total 577 students. That is very serious problem to mean three of ten are the victims of grouping alienation. By regional division the number of the victims in farming and fishing villages is 64(33.0%), that of common residential area is 55(28.5%), that of apartment area is 40(21.1%). The assaulting student was mostly the one in the same class at the proportion of 73.9%. The most frequent time of grouping alienation is during the break time as the proportion of 45.5%. In the research of occurrence spot, responding not being related to particular time is highest as 287(53/6%) students, the point of time in changing academic year is 136(25.4%) and the point of time of moving to other school is 81(15.5%). In the response to the questionnaire of how to face the group alienation, "avoiding" is 80(55.6%), "consulting with friends or family" is 80(55.6%) and the other reponses are "trying to be nicer" and "opposing" and so on. To the questionnaire of "Have you ever hidden the fact to be bullied?", 85(54.8%) answered "Yes", and the number of who answered that the main reason was not to worry the parents 48(39.0%). Thirdly, at the research of the reason of being alienated, the number of being poor in sports is 32(23%) and the number of who could not join in a sports matches or games because of lack of ability of sports activities is 38(24.7%). The number of students responded that doing sports activities made themselves confident is high presented as 433(75.7%). This means sports activities are very important to improving the sociality by making oneself confident in the interpersonal relation. Moreover the fact that the number of students who responded that the sports activities help not to be group-alienated is 372(67.9%) shows sports activities are effective to preventing and overcoming the group-alienation.
