Nationalism of the Xingshipai was to establish "nationality" and to make political thought of "all people's republic". The Xingshipai tried to get sympathy by appealing to nation's patriotism based on "national idea". And they tried to increase their social influence and to take better political position. Political power needs its justification. So they focused on organization, propaganda and theoretical works which justifying political power they sought. They strongly asserted joint consciousness, the benefit of society to individual and the responsibility of individual to the society. Also asserted the state-centered society with strong solidarity achieved by clear ideology and by strict organization. Here the concept of state changed to concrete substance that has Charismatic personality of supremacy and to be worshiped. The Xigshipai pushed forward their ideology by two ways. One is to establish political party as a political union group. They thought Chinese Youth Party was the only one party leading people toward the salvation of state and party taking initiatives for national revolution. The other is to educate people to be self-consciousness about state and educate people to be patriot who eventually overcome national crisis. At the same time they tried to construct common cultural circle through the concept of joint culture and consciousness. To execute ideal nationalism of the Xingshipai, they asserted to adopt their nationalism as common religion and to educate people ready to sacrifice themselves for state and to construct society in which patriotism is supreme moral. After Manchurian crisis, the Xingshipai advocated reviving the "Fajia's thought" of Qin dynasty as the theoretical base of pure Chinese nationalism and they adopted Social Darwinism as the base of theoretical preparation against Japan and Russia. It is sure that all the activities of political, social and theoretical works carried out by the "Xingshipai" during twenties to thirties of 20th century were the procedure of securing state-centered authority. In this article the origin and the background of the Xingshipai's nationalism is described. Then the basic ideas for social and political consolidation are analyzed to understand their justification of political power. Their thought was changed according to the situation of ongoing politic or society. Through objective analysis, I tried to apart from the old study based on ideological viewpoint. And instead, tried to take out a clue for appropriate assessment to Xingshipai, focusing on new meaning and the position of Xingshipai(and their nationalism) especially during the process of national building in modern Chinese history.
