    The purpose of this research was to develop and apply a STEAM program based on Problem-Based Learning, which can be utilized in the "science" classes of high schools, and to identify changes in the attitude of high school science-related attitude and their perception of science classes. To this end, this study selected the two themes "Design my health" and "Water that keeps my body" in Lesson 5. Human Health and Science Technology in the high school subject of science, and developed a STEAM program that consists of six classes by organizing the class phases based on Problem-Based Learning. The study's subjects were male and female first graders in an academic high school. Classes that applied the developed program were conducted on 57 students, and explanation-based classes were conducted on a comparative group of 64 students. Pre-class and post-class tests regarding the attitude of students toward the classes were performed to analyze their effect, and the effects of STEAM classes were examined by surveying the perception of students. As a result, the STEAM program based on Problem-Based Learning was found to positively influence four areas among the science-related attitudes of high school students: the social meaning of science, the attitude toward scientific investigation, the acceptance of scientific attitudes, and interest in science as an occupation. In addition, the perception of classes that utilized the STEAM program based on Problem-Based Learning was also revealed to be positive. Moreover, the students with more positive perceptions of the classes yielded more effects on improving their science-related attitude the social meaning of science and scientific investigation. Based on this study's results, if teaching-learning materials that utilize STEAM programs based on Problem-Based Learning are developed and more applied to the subject of science and its lessons, it will have positive effects on improving students' interest in science learning and their science-related attitude.
