    The objective of the present study was to identify smart learning experiences of students with mental disabilities using a tablet PC. We interviewed with six of high school students at special education school for the mental disability located in D city and analyzed the data. There are two educational goals of this study. One goal is how students with mental disabilities at the mental disability school use a tablet PC and the other goal is how students with mental disabilities experience smart learning using a tablet PC. Following the result of the study, there were three things we observed: operating a tablet PC, smart learning using a tablet PC, and three features of smart learning. First, operating a table PC consisted of the appearance of tablet PC, children's applications, and activities with a tablet PC. Second, smart learning using a tablet PC represented preparations for the smart learning, subjects used smart learning, and learning contents through smart learning. Third, the objects of this study felt that smart learning with a table PC was easy, fun, and comfortable. It is meaningful to look at the smart learning for disabled students from the new point view of the students with mental disabilities not the teacher or the expert. The above-mentioned findings of the study suggest that students with mental disabilities had positive experiences through smart learning with a tablet PC. The guidance of smart learning using a tablet PC is suggested for students with mental disabilities in order to improve the ability of using various programs for the effective smart learning.
