    Gear is one of the most important part of power transmission system. The development of high strength, wear resistance, light weight and low noise gear is strongly demanded. Gear grinding typically is the finishing process of gear machining. In order to remove unwanted materials of gear and guarantee the roughness of the tooth surface, grinding technique was employed as the last step in the gear machining process. Generally speaking, rough cuts are only responsible for creating the general shape of the gear which can't meet the precision request. Therefore, more precision grinding technique was needed to meet the gear tooth shape precision. In the grinding process, generally, high speed material remove causes surface abrasion both grinder and gear surface which is the main reason of error of grinding precision. Thus, this study investigates the effect of grinding process parameters like grinding spindle speed and table transfer speed on the gear grade and grinding efficiency.
