    Our society wants gifted students with leadership and humanity as well as cognitive ability and talent. Despite these social needs, there are gifted students who drop out in the middle of a program because they don′t have emotional stability though they have outstanding cognitive ability and talent. It is necessary to diagnose and analyze the sentiment of the gifted students in order to prevent dropouts. The traditional inspection tools that investigate the gifted students′ emotional and social aspects through gifted students check the survey for themselves just verify the portion which students are conscious superficially. Therefore, they can not be a test that finds out emotional and social aspects in their preconsciousness and unconsciousness. Thus, development of a new tool except survey form that can be used in psychological tests was needed to understand their scientific characteristics more deeply. In this research, through already developed KSD(kinetic Science Drawing) which is revised and complemented, I would like to analyze characteristics of gifted students′ scientific attitudes shown in the KSD in elementary school. Subjects for this study were 5th grade 80 students included in the gifted students in elementary school. Followings are the procedures. At first, I researched papers which are related to projective figure in art therapy, drawing scientist and science related attitude studies, then already developed screening tools of KSD is revised and complemented. Secondly, tests of science related attitude(TOSRA) and KSD(kinetic Science Drawing) were carried out to evaluate the gifted and general students′ scientific characteristics. Thirldy, divide into top-group and sub-group as test of science related attitude(TOSRA) score and compared students′ scientific characteristics shown in the KSD for each group. And then, select student who got the highest points of each items consisted of normality of scientists, attitude to scientific inquiry, enjoyment of science lessons, leisure interest in science, and career interest in science in test of TOSRA and analyze students′ scientific characteristics shown in the KSD. KSD analysis were applied to the projective figure analytical methods. Analysis in KSD test was conducted through analytical framework consisted of overall, morphological, and content elements. The results of this study are as follows. Top-group included in the many gifted students expresses positive scientific attitude in picture of KSD. On the other hand, sub-group included in the many general gifted students expresses negative scientific attitude in the picture of KSD. Pictures of KSD in top-group and sub-group are reversed in overall element, morphological element like degree of detail, omissions and distortions, content element like a location, job, description of scientific action, the relevance of actions and intentions. Differences scientific characteristics in the picture of KSD are expressed for students who got the highest points of each items in test of TOSRA, in particular, omissions and distortions in the highest points item of normality of scientists, size in the highest points item of enjoyment of science lessons, description of scientific action in the highest points item of attitude to scientific inquiry, degree of detail in the highest points item of leisure interest in science, and scientist′s feeling and attitude in the highest points item of career interest in science. Furthermore, if validity and reliability of tests are enhanced through the involvement of more professionals and students, it can be used as scientific attitude test which can complement shortcomings of existing tests. Scientific attitude of students will be seen in various forms, and it can be used as good materials for counsel of learning how to study science by grasping students' mentality.
