    The main objectives of this study are to investigate the effect of parenting attitudes and inter-parental conflicts on their child's game immersion. Parenting attitudes(acceptance-rejection, autonomy-control, achievement-expectation) were measured with mother's parenting attitudes and father's parenting attitudes. Inter-parental conflict was measured with conflict-resolution and conflict-frequence. And dependent variable Child's game immersion's sub-scale were Impairment of adjustment, Tolerance, Compulsive use, Excessive consumption of time, Even if side effect continued use, and Withdrawal. Subjects of this study consisted of 661 persons(333 boy and 327 girls) who are 7th grade and 8th grade (at middle school). Using SPSS 18.0 programs, we analyzed t-tests, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, boy group is higher game immersion(impairment of adjustment, tolerance, compulsive use, excessive consumption of time, even if side effect continued use, withdrawal) than girl group. Second, of parenting attitudes, acceptance-rejection of father, autonomy-control of father, acceptance-rejection of mother, and autonomy-control of mother appear to have a negative correlation with their child's game immersion. And achievement-expectation of father, and achievement-expectation of mother appear to have a positive correlation with their child's game immersion. Thirds, there is a significant correlation the inter-parental conflict and the their child's game immersion. In other words, conflict-resolution and conflict-frequence appear to have a positive correlation with their child's game immersion. Forth, using multiple regression, of independent variables and socio-demographic characteristics, sex, autonomy-control of mother, acceptance-rejection of father and achievement-expectation of mother influenced on their child's game immersion. Based on these finding, in order to reduce children's game immersion, it is necessary to further developed and utilized the intervention programs of father and mother, respectively.
