    There has been many wars throughout history and the victory has always depended on weapons. The gun is a representative weapon that decides victories. More firepower means more effective weapon. Gun barrel is the most important part of the gun. It used to be designed through experience but now it is designed through quantitatively approved formula. However, the effect of temperature has not taken into account yet when designing gun barrel. Strength of actual gun barrel tends to decrease due to heat from firing. This study describes how to design gun barrel in consideration of the effect of temperature.
