The objective of this study was to investigate the increased Hanwoo donor in vivo embryo on production rate by short-term low nutrient treatment prior to superovulation and this study was to determine changes in serum hormone concentrations, blood chemical values in Hanwoo donors. The treatment of superovulation was experimented twenty-five times embryo production. It takes 23days with calving bovine feeding programs, formulation of the total mixed ration(TMR) was 1kg in control(C) group donors(n=20), 0kg in low nutrient(L) group donors(n=31) and roughage was free intake. At random stages of the estrous cycle, received a CIDR together with injection of 1mg estradiol benzoate and 50 mg progesterone, and gonadotropin treatment began. 4days later, the animals were superovulated with a total of 28AU FSH (Antorin, 2AU=1 ml) administered twice daily in constant doses over 4days. On the 3rd administration of FSH, CIDR was withdrawn and 25mg PGF2α was administered. Hanwoo Donor were artificially inseminated twice after estrous detection at 12hr intervals. The Hanwoo Donor received 100μg GnRH at the time of 1st insemination. Embryos were recovered 7days after the 1st insemination. Blood recovery at four times. Serum hormones were assayed by ECLIA(Electro chemiluminescence immunoassay) and blood chemical values were analyzed by blood analyzer system. The results obtained were as follows: No differences were observed in the efficiency of superovulation rates on C group 90.91%, and L group 88.57%, respectively. The mean number of total C group Hanwoo donor transfer embryos from ≥10 and <10 of corpora luteum(CL) was 7.93±1.05, 0.08±0.37, respectively. In case of L group, The mean number of transferable embryo from ≥10 and <10 of CL was 11.23±1.31, 4.00±0.80, respectively. In addition, the mean number of total embryos are each C group 9.60±1.15, L group 12.00±1.21. So the mean number of transferable embryos are each C group 6.15±1.06, L group 9.13±1.12(p<0.05). In conclusion, these results suggest that L group may be effectively used for transferable embryos production in Hanwoo donor. The result of blood chemical values of treated L group were no significant differences in C group values. The result of concentration analyzed in 51 Hanwoo donors on superovulation that Estrogen(E2) was increased L group than C group when artificial insemination(AI). As a result, we conclude that the influence of short-term low nutrient restriction increase on follicle growth. On other hand, There was no significant difference in the concentrations of Progesterone(P4) or Estrogen(E2) on the C group and L group, but C group and L group after AI, tended to increase Luteinizing hormone(LH) concentration with the increase Progesterone(P4) concentrations. These data indicate that short-term low nutrient intake prior to and during superovulation resulted in more embryo production and rate.
