    The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of career exploration group counseling on career maturity of middle school students. The subjects were 13 male and female students who were in the second grade middle school. They were equally divided into two groups of thirteen students. The experimental group attended career exploration group counseling for five weeks. And then, the changes of the career maturity were checked. The instrument for the study was the My Vocational Situation(MVS) developid by computer program Rrequences, T-test, and Pearson's correlation Analysis. The results of the presents study are as follows : First, group attending career exploration group counseling were partially affirmed to be higher in career maturity than ones not attending. Therefore the fact was revealed that career exploration group counseling had an effect on the career maturity. Second, there were no significant difference found between career exploration group counseling and control group in pre-test. But the average points were increased in vocational identity, occupational information, barries, even though they were not significant. Third, there were no sigificant difference found between male and female group attending career exploration group counseling on the career maturity in the pre-test and post-test. Conclusively career exploration group counseling program has a positive effect on career maturity which was very important in the adolescence and raising the career maturity.
