Therearelimitationsforindividualcompaniestogrow withonlycompetitivenessin modern globalmanagement,so asapartofenhancing competitivenessand surviving capabilitybycombininginter- enterprisescorecompetencies, movementstointegrateand optimizesupplychainmanagementareincreasing. And especiallybecauseformingjust simplesupply chain isnothelpfulin corporateperformancesubstantially,in orderto maximizecloserelationshipswithcompanies, movementstoform partnerships, establish organic relationships, and use them as the standard of company strategies are spreading. As studieson these businessenvironments are being actively conducted, researchesonthefactorsthatexplainperformanceexpanded through supplychain are being performed globally. Especially, intra-organizational characteristics, inter-organizationalcharacteristics, relationalcharacteristics, enterprisecharacteristics, and supply chain partnershipsare typicalelementsthatinfluence cooperate performance. Thus, thepurposeofthisstudy wasto specify theeffectsofSCM characteristicson promoting SCM performance through corporate characteristics (agility, visibility)and supply chain partnership.Thisstudy wasfocused on preceding researcheson SCM characteristics, through a meta-analysis,developed a research modelby comparing supply chain partnership, theory and casestudies, and related empiricalstudies. For hypothesisverification, amultipleregression analysisand astructuralequation model(SEM)wereperformedbyusingstatisticalpackageAMOS18.0.Thegoalsofthisstudy wereasbelow. First, itestablished wide theoreticalresearches on the formation factor, influencefactor, andmediatingfactorrelated to SCM performance, andperformedcomprehensive researchestoexplain relationshipsamong corefactorsby determining relationsamong mainvariables. Second, researcheswereperformedtospecifytherelationshipbetweenSC partnership andSCM performance.GraspingrelationshipsmediatingcorporatecharacteristicsandSC partnership, alongwith directinfluential relationshipsbetween SCM characteristics and SCM performance, would contribute to explaining clearerinfluentialrelationships of SCM performance. Third, ittried to specifyrelations among each variable comprehensively by applying all the influential relations among main variables mentioned inpreceding researches to anempiricalanalysis. The study results were as below. First, itcould be found thatSCM characteristics significantly influence corporate characteristics, andamongSCM characteristics,inter-cooperation/inter-collaboration, asset specificity, information sharing, and reliability are importantfactors thatdetermine agility and visibility, thatis, corporatecharacteristics Second,it could be confirmed that SCM characteristics positively(+)influence supply chain partnership, and have statistically significant effects on determining supply chain partnership, though the degree varies with each variable. Third, the SCM characteristics effect on SCM performance,it turned out that characteristics within an organization have no direct influence, but both the characteristics between organizations and relationship characteristics have statistically significant influential relationships. Fourth, itwasanalyzed that corporate characteristic shave directly significant effects on supply chainpartnership, and it was confirmed that visibility, basedonquantity and quality(orfreshnessand accurateness)of information exchanged in supply chain, has essential influential relations for promoting and maintaining inter-enterprises relationships. Fifth, it was analyzed that corporate characteristics have significanti nfluential relations with cooperate performance, indicating that improving agility and visibility isdirectly related to improvement of cooperate performance. Sixth,it could be found that supply chain partnership has a very significant influential relationship with cooperate performance, which can be explained that strong solidarity among partner companies contributes to creating operational performance such as shortordering cycles, higher quality level, and increased reliability on product delivery, improving supply chain performance. Based on the study results, research implications could be drawn as follows. First, thisstudyhasameaningin thatittargeted complete products manufacturing companies engaged in construction equipment manufacturing industry, notwholesale& retail business or distribution business that had been typically researched before, and small-andmedium-size dpartners that supply parts to them. Second,it confirmed almost all the variables, known to significantly influence corporate performance, inaconceptual frame, andanalyzed them comprehensively. Third,it could be found that, in order to respond to rapidly changing market environments, efforts to improveagility and visibility of companies are needed from the aspects of speed and flexibility. Fourth,it could be found that the influential relationships between supply chain characteristics and corporate characteristics vary with dependent variables. Fifth,it could be confirmed that influential relations having effects on corporate performance, that is, financial performance, strategic performance, and operational performance, havedifferences. Limitations of this study and future directions are as below. First, the limitation is that it isun able to estimate corporate performance objectively. Second,in order to perform studies reflecting all the characteristics of main variables, systematic researches on clearer definitions of core variables and measuring methods are necessary. In addition, based on the results of this study, researches on more detailed relations among variables of each step would be needed. Third, future studies would be able to establish commitment of top management, asset specificity, and trustlevel, and grasp their influential relations, by conducting more detailed researches on commitment ftopmanagement, assetspecificity, andtrust levelofeachstepamonginfluentialrelationsofcorporateperformance.
