    Piano education is the most popular and universal education among the current music education. The children at lower grades of elementary school students started to face the piano education for the first time in their life. Therefore, various factors of efficient piano education for elementary school students have been studied in this study. In the theoretical background of this study, the objective and importance of piano education are mentioned. Various theories and intelligence development theory of Piaget have been studied in order for you help to understand young students' development. Also, by having views upon the fact that most of the students of lower grades are taking lessons at music academies, this study is suggesting effective teaching method and instruction plans based on the survey results from music academies and private teachers. Based on the results of survey, ideal teachers images are mentioned in the beginning of the study. Teacher's responsibility and duty for children to realize their potential and ability is very important. Education is not just simple a teaching but also means a very holy behaviour to teach students. Therefore, teachers' personalities and qualification shall be evaluated preciously. In the answers of survey, although some teachers answered that they consider children's individual characteristics, only half of the teachers answered "they consider very much". We should know that only the teaching method which consider children's physical and psychological characteristics can maximize the potential musical ability. And the next studied results describe the musical factors suitable for children to accept and understand. Based on the results of survey, when teaching techniques and concepts, I explained that they shall be educated considering their levels of understanding. Also, specific teaching guidelines for training method which is proportion to the time consumed by children or even more effective, importance and teaching method of music listening, appropriate stimulus and utilization of compensation, selection and utilization method of various education materials have been studied. As the musical instrument are developed, various teaching method have been developed in various ways and more teaching methods are being developed in the modern times. Therefore, when approaching to the new teaching methods, it is necessary to find a teaching method suitable for one's individual characteristics and develop it so that students and teachers can contribute to the musical growth and development.
