    From Writing to Speaking: Logico-Semantic and Tactic Development in the Written Preparations of Novice and Expert Speakers This study aims to investigate the differences in ways of organizing oral presentations performed by four participants who have different expertise in the language and the topic. The study is also designed to find meaningful microgenetic development during the progression from written preparation to oral presentation. For these purposes, the study compares logico-semantic and tactic relations and embedding in the written preparation and in the oral presentation of the participants. The study shows that there are important differences between expert and novice speakers. The expert speaker embeds more and elaborates more, while the less competent L2 learners enhance more and rely on taxis rather than embedding. Based on these results, the study discusses possible explanations as to what might contribute to the aforementioned disparities and suggests some pedagogical implications for future studies.
