    This study aims to produce safe foods and rural household incomes with fresh vegetables considering economic efficiency. It conducted series of ex-periments with the fresh vegetables uncommon in Northern Gyeonggi-do,perilla under LED light source in plastic film house. The growth experiments under LED lights counted various results on 60 days and 120 days after planting As a result, the internode under LED (R) was the best, followed by LED (B), control, and LED(R+B) order. In terms of leaf stalk, LED (B) has the best growth picture, followed by LED(R), control and LED(R+B) order. The plant length under LED(R) was the best, followed by LED (B), control and LED(R+B) order. The leaf width under LED (B) was the best, followed by control, LED(R) and LED(R+B) order The leaf length under LED(R) was the best, followed by control, LED(R+B) and LED (B) order In the comparison of growth by conditions of LED, dry-weight and fresh-weight, no significant difference was found. Though perilla bloom its flowers, it confirmed that year-round production goal is achieved. The chlorophyll content was differed depending on LED and location of light source. LED(R) and direct ray was the highest value of 36.37. The av-erage content ratio were 36.25 in control group with side light far from 4m, 35.87 in LED(R) with 4m side light, 35.55 in LED(R+B) with direct ray, 34.92 in LED(B) with direct ray, 34.52 in LED(R+B) with 2m side light, 33.77 in LED(R) with 2m side light, 33.22 in control with direct ray, 32.96 in LED(R+B) with 4m side light, 32.29 in control with 2m side light, 32.25 in LED(B) with 2m side light and 31.34 in LED(B) with 4m side light in that order. In terms of chlorophyll content by LED, LED(R) had the highest value of 35.34, followed by 33.34 of LED(R+B), 33.92 of control, 32.83 of LED (B)The content difference by position of source of light, direct ray was the highest result of 35.01, followed by 4m side light, 34.11 and 2m side light, 33.21It confirmed that the chlorophyll content by LED and position of source of light had major effect individually (p
