It means morals of patricentric ethics. The prunus padus is symbol of love in . In this novel Ja-ya drop in at Woo-ya's house to be fascinated by the tree with the white blossom, the prunus padus. Ja-ya is an insane person. Woo-ya accepts Ja-ya delightfully and loved. She got better thanks to his love. The tree in the Korean-novel implies the circle of nature, a birthplace, a mother, a patricentric society and love.
