The Acculturation of Korean Traditional Religions and It"s Leisureliness Implication
It is hypothesized that the proto-type leisure culture of the contemporary society could be found by the innate religion that has ever dominated over the culture. Over the Korean history. the paper glances over the multi-religious culture such as Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity and the like as well as old shamanism that has governed traditional Korean society. In particular. Confu?ianism has dominated the most recent Lee Dynasty and still embedded in Korean recent life. Bringing on formalism and authoritarian culture. Confucianism regarded leisure and recreation as negligence and restrained sensual pleasures of people. while making the ruling class enjoying themselves by taking instinctual leisure activities.
