Determinants of User Satisfaction and Performance in the Hotel Web Sites
The objectives of the study were twofold: one was to examine the relationship between web site quality(design, contents, functionality, and credibility of websites) and user satisfaction, and the other was to test the relationship between user satisfaction and purchase-related behavioral intentions as potential consequences of web site quality in the hotel industry through extensive literature review. Correlation analysis and LISREL were employed to test the hypotheses. Results showed that web site quality had significant positive effects on user satisfaction except on the functionality of web sites. Support was also found on a causal relationship between user satisfaction and website performance, which was measured by purchase-related behavioral intentions.
