    초록

    The synthetic breaking test method was developed to evaluate the breaking performance of ultra high-voltage circuit breaker and made up of two independent circuits; current source circuit and voltage source circuit. In application of this test method, it is necessary to extend the arc of the test breaker. So, the new re-ignition system using VTGS (Vacuum Triggered Gap-Switch) was constructed to improve the efficiency and reliability of this test. In this re-ignition system, VTGS operates in high vacuum state of $5{\time}10^{17}$ torr and control system consists of the triggering device and the air M-G (Motor-Generator). This re-ignition system showed the operating characteristics, such as delay time ( $t_d$ ) and jitter time ( $t_j$ not exceeding 5us and 1us respectively, and had the operating voltage of $25\~150kVdc$ at the gap distance of 24mm.

    We demonstrate a simple $CO_2$ laser by controlling firing angle of a TRIAC switch in ac power line. The power supply for our laser system switches the voltage of the AC power line (60Hz) directly. The power supply does not need elements such as a rectifier bridge, energy-storage capacitors, or a current-limiting resistor in the discharge circuit. In order to control the laser output power, the pulse repetition rate is adjusted up to 60Hz and the firing angle of TRIAC gate is varied from $45^{circ}$ to $135^{circ}$ . A ZCS(Zero Crossing Switch) circuit and a PIC one-chip microprocessor are used to control the gate signal of the TRIAC precisely. The maximum laser output of 40W is obtained at a total pressure of 18 Torr, a pulse repetition rate of 60Hz, and a TRAIC gate firing angle of $90^{circ}$ .

    This paper addresses the discharge characteristics of cross-linked polyethylene according to void by the Weibull function. It analyzes discharge number and amount of discharge using Weibull distribution to identify the inter-relationship between partial discharge and defect. We detected a 10 second discharge. The applied voltage increased by 1 [kV] at discharge inception voltage. As a result, in a no-void specimen, the shape parameter was consistent according to the increase of voltage, whereas, in a void specimen, it increased according to the increase of voltage. As the result, the shape parameter expressed a fixed value at no-void specimen. However, in void specimen, according to increasing voltage shape parameter rapidly increases.

    Viologen has been extensively investigated in the paper because their well-behaved electrochemistry has led to their use in a variety of theses, including the electron acceptor for the electric charge delivery mediation of the devices. It was formed monolayer in QCM by self-assembly method. We could know the adsorbed mass of viologen molecules from the frequency shift. We calculated that the adsorbed mass was about 196 [ $ng/cm^2$ ]. We studied the electron transfer property of viologen by the cyclic voltammetry among the electrochemical process so we changed an anion like 0.1 M $NaClO_4$ and $Na_3PO_4$ electrolyte solution and investigated the interrelationship between scan rate and peak current when scan rates were increased twice.

    A series of inorganic-organic hybrid membranes were prepared with a systematic variation of titanium dioxide nanoparticle content. Their water uptake, methanol permeability and proton conductivity as a function of temperature were investigated. The results obtained show that the inorganic oxide network decreases the proton conductivity and water swelling. It is also found that increase in inorganic oxide content leads to decrease of methanol permeability. In terms of the morphology, membranes are homogeneous and exhibit good adhesion between inorganic domains and the polymer matrix. The properties of the composite membranes are compared with the standard nafion membrane.

    A new type of supercapacitor was constructed by using carbon nanofibers (CNFs) and DAAQ (l,5-diaminoanthraquinone) oligomer. DAAQ was deposited on the carbon nanofibers by chemical polymerization with ammonium peroxodisulfate (( $NH_4)_2S_2O_8$ ) as oxidant in the 0.1 M $H_2SO_4$ . Polymerization reaction was carried out with constant sonication. From the analysis, it is clear that surface of carbon nanofibers was quite uniformly coated with DAAQ. The performance characteristics of the supercapacitors have been evaluated using Cyclic Voltammetry. CNFs/DAAQ based composite electrode showed relatively good electrochemical behaviors in acidic electrolyte system. CNFs/DAAQ composite electrode showed relatively good capacitance (7 Ah/kg) compared to conventional capacitors in the range of $-0.4\~0.4$ .

    The increasing demand for high density packaging technologies and the evolution to mixed digital and analogue devices has been the con-set of increasing research in thin film multi-layer technologies such as the passive components integration technology. In this paper, Cu and TaO thin film with RF sputtering was deposited for spiral inductor and MOM capacitor on the $SiO_2$ /Si(100) substrate. MOM capacitor and spiral inductor were fabricated for L-C band pass filter by sputtering and lift-off. We are analyzed and designed thin films L-C passive components for band pass filter at 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz, important devices for mobile communication system. Based on the high-Q values of passive components, MOM capacitor and spiral inductors for L-C band pass filter, a low insertion loss of L-C passive components can be realized with a minimized chip area. The insertion loss was 3 dB for a 1.8 GHz filter, and 5 dB for a 900 MHz filter. This paper also discusses a analysis and practical design to thin-film L-C band pass filter.
