  1. [국내논문]   정보제공형 웹사이트 사용자 인터페이스 평가에 관한 연구 - 사무관리자 성별간 비교 실증분석

    초록

    The main objective of this research is to find out whether there exist any user interlace factors that influence female office management professionals" business activities on the web. The result of this study shows office management professionals" gender difference on responses to 16 interlace factors in four major categories, (1) web design, (2) structure, (3) navigation, and (4) interaction. The study has been initiated by an intuition that most of current internet sites were made most likely by male web designers and/or planners, and for that reason those sites could be ideally designed for male to navigate and search for information and interact with the system. The best information-providing 30 web sites were selected from the list of Best 100 Web Sites, generated by www.100hot.com, and a panel of 10 members for each gender were chosen after conducting phone interviews. Each gender panel consists of five members who use the internet for about 1 to 2 hours on daily average and another five members who work on the web for about 4 to 6 hours on daily average. 20 panel members had to carry out their job in their own work setting, checking all of 30 web sites and responding to four questions for each interlace factor. It took 7 days to collect all data from the panel, and using SPSS program the statistical analysis was performed to find out user interface factors which female office professionals reacted to most negatively. T -test results were used for the analysis of difference of two gender groups on interlace factors. As a result of this study, we have found out that "formation", "location", "usuability," and "robustness" are the most influencing interface factors for web designers to concern when they develop web sites for female office professionals. The study result can be improved by enhancing reliability of choosing target web sites to investigate and panel members. Also, it is strongly recommended to apply the main idea of this research to other classes of web sites, such as service-providing and product-providing web sites, too.

    초록

    This study examines the present situation of communication education as a part of secretarial studies and education in terms of speech communication, reminding efficient oral communicative competence is highly regarded as one of the most important skills to earn for the students who will work as so-called communication channels in the workplace. There are threefold purposes of the study: Firstly, to investigate the characteristics of speech communication and to propose syllabus contents to enhance the oral competence of students. Secondly, to find out how much emphases are put on the curricula in college secretarial education, And thirdly, to overview the previous research achievement on the speech communication. The results of the investigation show: 1) The oral competence at workplace is regarded as the most highly important qualification in doing secretarial job. 2) The syllabus should contain overall factors and cases happening in real situation, 3) As for the curriculum, about 49 percent of the colleges having a secretarial major does not offer oral communication courses in their curricula 4) The previous researches claim the importance of communication skill for secretarial students. But it is investigated that the area of speech communication has not developed enough both quantitatively and qualitatively. It is suggested that more research needs to be performed regarding oral communication in secretarial studies. Also, more emphasis should be put on the curricula and syllabi for students with secretarial major to help students to adapt proficient communication skills.

    초록

    The necessity of the study of establishment of the correct vocational ethos has been raised according to the various change of vocational structures and environment in the informationized society. This study deals with this necessity: Here I surveyed the vocational characteristics and the vocational ethos, and the contents and change of professional vocational ethos of the advanced nations like Germany, Japan and the United states which are the basis of vocational ethos of these informationizes period in the informationized society. And I studied the contents of the qualifying examination of secretary through the vocational view, the professional secretary in the informationized period and the educational programs of professional secretary on the basis of these theory and practices of professional vocational ethos. Especially I described in detail about the language, behavior, manner and the practical patterns of conduct which are requested to the vocation of secretary. Accordingly this study emphasizes the high personality and knowledge for the person to be the professional secretary. And now the level of education for the professional secretary and ethics should be enforced more than ever in our country.

    초록

    The purpose of this study is to get the general picture of the actual status of Business English Education and the English language level of the Junior college students majoring in Secretarial studies or related major in order to provide some factual data to the field of Secretarial Business English Education. The result of this research will be a useful case study in maximizing the effectiveness of English education, the goal of which as a improved communication skill in the point of Junior college students. A questionnaire composed of 20 questions on three major fields(respondents" personal data, English education status, English Curriculum) has been used to conduct a survey research. Among the 328 questionnaire circulated, 249 answers were collected and analyzed for some meaningful results as below. The result showed the unique features of students composition in junior college. Nearly half of the students in junior college has graduated from vocational high school, therefore, a different approach of teaching methods and courses are necessary for them Majority of the students agreed that their Business English classes are very important in their major curriculum but their efforts in improving their English language ability was not properly linked to the purpose of English education, therefore, it is also necessary to devise a method to encourage their language study. Also instructors in charge of the Secretarial Business English courses need to show further attention to their students and try to find out their needs in language study. The importance of communicating ability in English is the most important factor in modem English education. The result showed that students also acknowledged the importance of English speaking, listening, and grammar and vocabularies and they want further training on these fields during their Secretarial Business English class. In conclusion, Secretarial Business English instructors are expected to apply the findings in this study in order to devise the most effective teaching methods, courses, textbooks for the students majoring secretarial studies in junior college.

    초록

    The purpose of this study is to develop general and core curriculum for secretarial and related department in college by using DACUM(Developing a Curriculum) method. First, the nine DACUM workshop panels were selected with consideration of various levels of job representation and employers" size representation They are eight secretaries who have worked for one to ten years in the secretarial job, and who had studied at two-year college and four-year university and one supervisor in the Metropolitan area. The panels agreed through several workshops that secretarial job consisted of 10 duties such as 1) processing calls, 2) managing visitors, 3) maintaining filing system, 4) handling documents, 5) maintaining schedules, 6) arranging travel, 7) coordinating meeting, 8) processing data and information, 9) performing administrative tasks, and 10) developing professional growth. Also, they categorized the core curriculum for secretarial and related department as follows: 1) secretarial area, 2) business administrative area, 3) information managing area, 4) foreign language area, and 5) others(professional job ethics & attitude). As a result of this study, it is recommended that more research should be performed in other specialized secretarial jobs or certain regional area to identify more specific DACUM chart and curriculum.

    초록

    The purpose of this study is to define the current and future roles of secretary. A three-round Delphi technique was used to collect data through a series of surveys to obtain the consensus of a group of experts in secretarial job. In the first round, and unstructured questionnaire was sent to 52 experts who were qualified to respond to define the secretary"s role. Fifty-two experts consist of 17 instructors at colleges, 16 current or former secretaries, and 19 bosses and HRD managers. In the second round, the summarized results of the first round were distributed to 45 round-two respondents to rate the importance of each item for confirmation and validation of the results. In the third, the same procedure as in the second round was repeated to obtain the consensus of the experts on secretary"s roles. Data were analyzed using content analysis and descriptive statistics. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the secretary"s current roles are defined as administrative assistant, communication expert, planning manager, human relations manager, information manager, office manager, public relations manager, training manager, training manager, facilitator, customer relations manager, and business partner. Second, the secretary"s role are defined as multi-functional office professional, information manager, business partner, human relations manager, communication expert, planning manager, facilitator, change agent, customer relations manager, and training manager. Based on the findings of this study, further research is required to identifying the required competencies of each role. Second, it will be interesting to validate the roles defined by expert panel, to assess the current level of expertise, and to rate the importance weighting by secretaries who are now employing.

    초록

    This study seeks to accomplish two tasks: to find out an efficient curriculum operation and teaching method by examining the efficiency of the current office procedure training course and to use the result as a basic instrument to upgrade the practical method of efficient secretary office procedure training. The study is a decurrent study looking for an effective curriculum and a teaching method. The paper, first, is concerned about the current situation of secretary office procedure training curriculum. It examines the contents of the training which must be developed in order to survive in the rapidly changing world. Second, by examining the current teaching method and curriculum the study provides a new one necessary for such an unstable situation. Third, the study presents a case which was actually performed in the Hye-chon college, where the new teaching method and curriculum was used. Finally, several problems we found out in the teaching, suggestions for dealing with those problems, and directions for future research are described. Because the study is based on the teaching performed at the second term in 2000, we cannot utilize statistical data necessary for an empirical analysis.

    In these clays, society is called knowledge-based society, and knowledge is the roost valuable things in the business. Foreign companies have perceived knowledge one of the important factors in the organization, and they prepared to manage knowledge as an asset. However, Korean companies starts to perceive knowledge important factors to survive in the business. In general, problems or mistakes in the office are occurred repeatedly, and solutions of the problems require redundant time and endeavor. The purpose of this study is to propose knowledge management system to solve problems efficiently and effectively in the organization, This paper focuses on development of knowledge management system in which normalized ways of problem-solving were stored and retrieved by several users in the organization By using the system, the knowledge can be spreaded and shared by workers in the organization, Productivity of the organization will increase because workers can save time and endeavor. The organization will perform quality project or job when workers start project or job easily by using knowledge which was stored in the system in the past. The problems also can be solved easily and efficiently.

    초록

    국제화의 흐름 속에서 비서의 외국어 커뮤니케이션 관리능력은 점차로 증대되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요구에 부응하기 위해 다양한 비즈니스 영어 교수가 이루어지고 있지만 아직까지 국내에서 비즈니스 영어 교수에 관련한 기초연구가 미진한 실정이다. 본 연구는 학습자 중심의 비즈니스 영어 교수 모형을 개발하기 위한 탐색적 단계의 연구를 수행한다. 외국어 학습의 주요한 성공용인으로 논의되고 있는 학습자의 정의적인 요인을 제2언어 학습이론으로 조명하고, 학습과정에서 역동적으로 변화하여 가는 학습 동기 요인을 학습자의 수용성과 교수자의 반응성으로 규명한다. 또한 학습자 중심의 효과적인 교수방안을 논의한다.

    초록

    To develop vocational ability as a professional secretary, appropriate curriculum and effective teaching method is needed, Furthermore, innovation in curriculum and teaching method should result in students" concentration, and thus motivating students will be possible, The goal of this study is to provide "Guidelines for Secretary Training and Education for Vocational Ability Development." For the achievement of this goal, cases of vocational training and education innovation actively pursued by colleges are reviewed. As a result of our study, we provide vocational training and education development guidelines for teachers.
