    This paper is the result of a literature review on business-to-business marketing, and the country-of-origin effect, presenting an evolutionary overview on these topics throughout four decades. The findings indicate that the1970s served as scenario for the introduction of country-of-origin and B2B marketing altogether. During the 1980s, the topic was scarcely explored, being revisited in the next decade, with the addition of more countries and dimensions to the analysis. In the 1990s, the construct country-of-origin effect was dismembered into three others: country of assembly, design, and manufacturing. Finally, the 2000s served as setting for the most complex research of four decades analyzed. The conclusion of this literature review brings a graphical representation that displays the cited authors and their research, the countries involved in the assessments and, the theoretical gaps for further studies.

    The understanding of organisational culture is increasingly viewed as a necessary requirement for high performance in the organisation. This is also suggestive that the culture of an organisation may have a significant impact on the success of the organisation. The term 'organisational culture' is used widely, however inappropriately and occasionally defining and using it incorrectly. While there is universal agreement that organisational culture exists and that it plays a crucial role in shaping behaviour and performance in organisations, there is little consensus on what organisational culture is and how it impacts on organisational performance. Without a reasonable understanding of the concept of organisation culture and its definition, we cannot understand its relationships with organisational performance. This paper explores the notion and the understanding of the concepts of organisational culture and organisational performance. If we can define and understand the concept of organisational culture, then we can understand how it can impact on organisational performance.

  3. [해외논문]   An Exploratory Factor Analysis of Older Adults' Resistance to Innovation Adoption: A Case Study of University of Botswana

    This paper analysed the resistance to innovation of a stratified sample of 279 staff members of the University of Botswana with the view to determine those factors that act as roadblocks, institutional barriers and boosters to innovation use in the university. Using an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and multivariate binary logistic regression techniques, lack of innovation, perceived risks and institutional environment were identified as roadblocks/barriers to innovation use by the older adults (50 years and over). Access to computer and years of internet experience significantly, positively affected innovation use (p 0). Training and motivation were also identified as factors that act as boosters to innovation use. The paper recommends for the designing of intensive training programme for the older adults that is age-specific and which takes into consideration the existing skills in order to motivate them to use the innovations.

    The aim of this research was to evaluate the implementation of a 5-week (15-hour) extension course in Applied Neuroeconomics, taken by 27 undergraduates (89% from economics majors and 11% members of a junior consulting firm) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and to identify their perception of the adequacy and applicability of the course content for consulting purposes. At the end of each class, students evaluated the current module by responding to a 10-item questionnaire using a 5-point scale, based on Kirkpatrick's (1996) 4-level evaluation model: reaction, learning, behavior, and results. For data analysis, Pearson's chi-squared test was used, and the Clopper-Pearson (Exact) method was adopted to estimate the confidence interval for the good/excellent response proportion.     The study proposes to develop a reference model of sustainability disclosure based on the models and requirements of four sustainability indexes - Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Corporate Sustainability Index ISE, Frankfurt STOXX and Financial Times FTSE ESG. The approach employed to develop the model is a qualitative analysis of the complementarity among the Stock indexes above mentioned alongside a literature review on sustainability disclosure frameworks. There is no consensus around what should be measured and how. Yet, there is no study in the literature that has ever discussed the models of the sustainability stock indexes and the respective data required in each one of them or compared these models and their requirements. The present study attempts to fulfill this gap by examining the initiatives and requirements of four prominent sustainability indexes. This study contributes to the sustainability responsible investment literature. The inclusion of a firm in a sustainability index can be perceived as a positive signal by investors and this can be explained by signaling theory. This analysis can help investors and/or socially responsible fund managers to screen the stocks against this reference model and determine those firms that are more adherent to it.

    This research is intended to explore the factors influencing consumer choice of private dental care providers in Saudi Arabia. The current research is descriptive analytical. A purposive sampling technique was employed to recruit 220 consumers who visited a private dental care provider. This research showed that factors influencing consumers' choice (information sources, dentist attributes, dental practice attributes, and demographics) had a positive effect on consumers' choices of the private dental providers on the one hand. On the other hand, the demographic factor had no effect on brand. The paper contributes to previous research by adding to existing knowledge regarding the factors influencing consumer choice of private dental care provider in Saudi Arabia. The paper makes key recommendations towards studying the factors influencing the consumers' choice.

    This paper explores the strategic consideration of organizational governance for CSR adoption. Specifically, it develops a conceptual framework that outlines how an organization's concern for its clients and employees influences the relationship between organizational governance and various domains of CSR behaviors. Based on survey data from organizations that are actively engaged in CSR in Hong Kong, there is evidence that adoption of client-oriented CSR practices complementarily mediates the positive relationship between organizational governance and CSR practices in all areas except those related to community involvement and development. On the other hand, adoption of employees-oriented CSR practices is a complementary mediator for the positive relationship between organizational governance and CSR practices related to the environment and the community.

    Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)is an integrated risk management approach, which considers risks in the context of business strategy and manages them with a portfolio perspective through well defined risk responsibilities and strong risk monitoring processes. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of ERM on firm value for 130 firms operating in the manufacturing industry and listed in Borsa Istanbul. For this purpose, we utilized panel regression models on financial data collected in the period 2008-2013. The dependent variable is Tobin's Q, which is used as a proxy of firm value. The independent variable is ERM implementation, whereas the control variables are firm size, leverage ratios and profitability ratios. We tested the hypothesis that there is a relationship between ERM and firm value. Our findings suggest that there seems to be no statistically significant relationship between firm value and ERM. We also employed a survey to explore how firms implement ERM and to obtain information about motivation behind adoption of ERM, challenges of ERM implementation and effects of ERM adoption.

    Previous research on leader-member exchange (LMX) has often viewed the supervisor as the primary recipient of organizational resources. These resources often serve as incentives or catalysts for the subordinates to enter a dyadic relationship with the supervisor. However, this research has overlooked the salient role that subordinates play in the initiation of these relationships and their contributions to the organization. The aim of the present study was to examine LMX and perceived organizational support (POS) simultaneously from the subordinate's perspective and its impact in the development of LMX and work outcomes. Hayes' process macro (2013) was used to test the moderation model using a sample of 111 subordinates. Results confirm that subordinate POS moderates the relationship between (LMX) and various work outcomes (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB)). Furthermore, the relationship between LMX and work outcomes was stronger when subordinates had high POS. The implications, limitations, and direction for future research are discussed.

    The purpose of this study is to statement the extent of internal control units in the government sector with the regulatory standards of the international organization of supreme audit control bodies (INTOSAI). In order to achieve the objectives of the study and the testing of hypotheses, the researcher designed a questionnaire, This questionnaire was distributed to Ministries, Department, dependent and independent institutions, a representative sample was selected to represent Ministries, Departments, dependent and independent institution study sample consist of internal control managers, directors control and employees, Out of the (300) questionnaires distributed, 249 were recovered with an adoption rate of 83%., For the statistical analysis purposes. The results showed that the commitment of internal control units in the Government sector regulatory standards, field standards, reporting standards of the international organization of Supreme Audit controls and accountability in General moderately came with the arithmetic mean and standard deviation, respectively (3.003) (0.535), and (3. 542) (0.610), and (3. 482) (1.022), The researcher attributed this result to it. Thus, the researcher attributed this result to the mechanism of internal control units action need to action strategies and future plans for its experience, skills and capabilities of both managers and workers employed by administrative government units and the need to strive towards the adoption of regulatory standards for the international organization of supreme audit control bodies (INTOSAI) in the Government sector, Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended the need for attention to the human element as one of the main components of internal control system. This is in terms of training and development to keep pace with scientific progress and the practical need to emphasize the reformulation of some legislation. Also, it helps with some of the aspects due to the need for harmonization between legislation. In addition, it helps with professional international standards, especially supreme control standards which give importance and effectiveness to financial control and other recommendations.
